sadly, these were the cutest easter pictures i got of my girls in their tulle (long anticipated) easter skirts. i attempted a family picture, but between hudson grimacing, indy squinting in the sunlight, cline stressing that we’d be late to church and my two “ballerina’s” posing, it was a total (almost humorous) flop

it was wren and sunny’s turn to choose our date, and they didn’t hesitate long; a trip to the library for some new books and a stop at the donut haus on the way home for a treat

now this kind of fighting, the kind that’s laughter filled, doesn’t bother me one bit

the cold front moved in just in time for the boys’ football games.
the girls were sure they still wanted go and watch. me, being the cold wimp that i am, was not so sure. nevertheless, we bundled up and headed out. it took about 2 minutes for wren to be in tears because she was too cold. indie thankfully slept through the whole thing. sunny was good because she had all the blanket leaving me with zero.
we lasted about 10 minutes before i “sacrificially” volunteered to take a van load of kids home to play while the older kids finished their games.
i definite got the good end of that deal. here’s to hoping for future sunny saturdays
