We ushered in April with beautiful weather.

We were then hit with the mother of all flu bugs, and kindly shared it from person to person in our family.  It was a doosey.  ( And yes, that’s a word )

The day that Indie had been anticipating for months finally arrived; Mallory and Cam’s wedding!

Bluffton, Indiana was in the path of totality for a solar eclipse.  So strange to experience “twilight” in the middle of the afternoon!

Family night isn’t complete without a game….or two or three ……

My sisters might think we’re doing them a favor when we babysit, but that’s definitely not the case.  It’s a highlight of our day!

Celebrating that Grandpa Keith has his ice cream machine up and running!

Sunny and a group of friends planned and schemed a way to “kidnap” poor Addi for a birthday surprise.
*she was a bit harder to nab than expected

Indie feels she is living an unfair life, with her older siblings going and hosting far more than she gets to.  Thus, having a friend home from church made her day.

Patiently, ( or slightly impatiently ) waiting on me to practice reading with her, Indie silently glided around the house.

Garage sale days means lots of time with cousins – always a win.

Celebrating our 21st anniversary in Indy; rock climbing, walking, fine dining and a swanky hotel.

Alex, Adler and Cline flew out to Arizona for a quick, surprise weekend trip.

If your husband ever suggest that you not try to touch up the ceiling with old ceiling paint, I suggest that you listen.
(this ended up being a tense, stressful situation that thankfully, ended well after many prayers )
