2021 Week #2

Beginning in January, our schedule is crazy.  Almost every day has an extra-curricular activity for someone.

My mind feels like a mix of crazy stew.

Second piano lesson, I determined that we were going to be prompt, so as not to look like a crazy, disorganized, homeschool mother, and thus casting the entire homeschool race into dishonor.

We made it on time.

We forgot all our piano books.

The day Wren had been looking forward to – her first pair of glasses arrived.

“Everything looks so big!” Wren said in awe.

Very tired of Indie crying and carrying on when I comb her hair, and sick of her hair falling out of her rubber bands and barrettes, I decided that a hair cut was in order.  I found two cute pictures online, and scheduled an appointment.

Reality was much more dismal.  I hate the hair cut.
Please grow back quickly hair!

The girls were over the moon when Aunt Ayanna gifted us with two kittens.

update:  since taking this picture, we got up one morning, and the kittens had disappeared.  This is at least the second time this has happened to us!  What in the world?!

Feeling quite lucky that we were picked to babysit for cousin Chance, the kids fought over him …. until he puked.
