on the first day of spring, we headed into d.q. to take advantage of their spring “free cone” day

on the second day of spring, we got snowed in.  sunny and i ran (lunch bag and backpack in hand) to the end of our lane so that she could be picked up on the road for gymnastics.

on the third day of spring, we made a snow man.  (to keep it more seasonable, the girls did wear their sleeveless sundresses underneath their snow coats )

while the girls followed you-tube videos from arthub  for kids, i had the best conversation with this handsome fellow.

we discussed  golden duck stamps that are super rare, wheat coins, cow pennies, golden clocks and other treasures.  Buying a fourth safe that cost $100 because it’s waterproof, fireproof and safety proof for all his treasures.  How his grandparents spoil him, and that his grandpa’s “not doing too good”.,  A silver dollar he didn’t get “‘cause he wasn’t borned yet”. 

trading in trucks with super low miles but that are all rusted out – “not pretty stuff when it rusteds all out!” and how he’s not good at carving ’cause his mom and dad don’t let him carve with his leatherman that is sharp sharp sharp sharp!
