after two days of cline graphiting his derby car wheels, getting increasingly “black” each time, i informed him to wait for daddy to get home before rolling them again.

hairstyles by sunny – i’m not sure who did a worse job, sunny or me trying to even it all out
i later overheard sunny saying, “i cut wren’s hair, but mom cut it short”

the kids have all been very disappointed in our warm winter.

at bedtime, sunny and i prayed that God would send some snow. the next morning, we woke up to beautiful flakes drifting down.

“mommy, that’s what you prayed!” sunny exclaimed. while this was a great faith building experience, it lead to a discussion about when God answers our prayers with a no instead of a yes.
thankful for these moment with my children
