roasted and crispy - even my kids (most of them, that is) love this
Ingredients
- 1 bunch of Asparagus
- 2 Tablespoons oil of choice (coconut, butter, olive, bacon grease)
- ¼ cup almond flour or meal
- salt
- pepper
- garlic salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Rinse and dry the bunch of asparagus.
- Prepare the asparagus by breaking off the tough woody stem. This is easily done by gently holding the stem and bending until it snaps. The asparagus naturally snaps right above the woody part of the stem. Discard the woody stem.
- Place asparagus in a ziplock bag; pour oil over top and gently toss to coat. Add almond meal and seasoning and gently toss again.
- Arrange asparagus in a single layer on a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 5 minutes
- Serve immediately
