2018 week #31

and another great year with the fiechter family up at lake webster.  

the weeds were extra thick this year, the beach extra hard, but the company couldn’t be better!  with us girls all married and living here and there, i cherish this time together.

 it’s so precious seeing the cousins all enjoying each other and making strong friendships.
wren just loves her nora-girl, and is constantly wanting to mother her.  these two came traipsing out of the cottage one afternoon with nora wearing wren’s slippers and headband, and smiling the cutest little grin ever

tubing is always a hit.  the younger kiddos are pretty crazy, thinking they’re invincible … until they start getting picked on by their older brother or cousin

it was jason’s first year at the lakes with us, and he’s pretty popular with all the nieces and nephews … it helps that he’s married to ti, ’cause she’s pretty popular too 😉

we were lucky to have our own on site hair salon this year.  you went in, sat down, got your hair (heavily) misted, brushed, dried with a fan running on high, rubbed with air freshener to make is smell good, and then you picked out your “hairstyle” from the options taped to the wall.
the only problem ….. none of the girls knew how to put in a rubber band…….maybe next year…….

lots of games, loads of snuggles, plenty of sweets and snacks ….. a great week
