no, it’s not puke, but cleaning up pumpkin waffle batter was not a whole lot better.  

i guess if you put too many fermented products (sourdough + kefir ) in the blender for too long, it creates too much pressure and blows the top off.  the velocity was quite impressive, reaching from one end of the kitchen to the other – a good 12 foot span –  with splatters ranging from indies head to well over mine.

my sisters know me well, and for my birthday treated me to a night out in fort wayne, riding bikes and eating yummy (and slightly unusual) food.   

i love these gals!

 i also like the man at the ice cream store who guessed our ages to span between 18-25.  bless his heart

back at the street fair for a magic show.  the boys were very impressed, and eagerly bought the magic coloring book and also the magic kit sold at the end.

the magician assured our quite practical hudson that the magic kit was very good quality.  hudson eagerly opened his kit on when we got home and was not impressed.  the said “high quality” turned out to be rather cheap plastic pieces.

this may turn out to be an important life lesson about the power of marketing
